The public can bid on work by some well-known artists at the 2nd Fish Hoek Scout Group’s annual art auction later this month.The event is a fund-raiser for the scout group. Contributing artists are Andrew Cooper, Beth Lowe, Melanie Meyer, Marion Cross, Mary McMillan, Dr Roger Melvill, Karin Davel, Andrew Hart and Mare Bruer. The auction is at the scout hall, in Carlton Road, Fish Hoek, on Saturday July 27, from 5pm to 10pm. Entry is R50. The entry fee includes a variety of snacks, wine and cool drinks. Forty original artworks will be auctioned and 40% of the proceeds will go to 2nd Fish Hoek Scouts.
