I was overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me this week by a woman who was a stranger but came to my assistance.
On Monday April 4, I was shopping at Pick * Pay, Longbeach Mall.
While I was at the till trying to pay, I experienced some difficulty with my bank card and the transaction was declined. I immediately left the shopping with the teller and went to the bank to find out the reason for it being refused.
When I returned to the teller, to my amazement the woman in the queue behind me had paid for my shopping and had left without me having the chance to say thank you.
I went out in the mall to look for her but couldn’t find her.
I was so touched by what she did and have wanted to say how much I appreciated her caring.
There are some wonderful people out there.
