Uniform Sunday was celebrated on Sunday November 11 at the Anglican Church of St Clare of Assisi in Ocean View. During the service, special prayers were offered for the men and women in uniform, from the police, army, navy and emergency services to the fire, traffic, correctional services and medical staff, in preparation for the busy festive season. Father Ulric Groenewald, who led the service, told the congregation that the uniform was a sign of purpose. The service coincided with the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War I.
