MA Security and Fidelity ADT merged at the beginning of the month.
Jade Hanning,a Fidelity ADT district manager, said:”This partnership will integrate YMA Security customers into the Fidelity Security Group.”
Mr Hanning assured all YMA customers the service would continue as normal during the transition.
YMA Security customers would now also have access to Fidelity ADT’s safe entry service, its 24-hour free medical assistance service, as well as its mobile app Fidelity ADT FindU which connects customers to armed response and medical assistance when they are out and about.
Mr Hanning said they intended to use as many YMA Security personnel as possible. The YMA office would be developed into a community security hub manned by YMA staff monitoring security camera systems, neighbourhood watch radios and social media groups. All armed response officers would remain deployed in situ.
The YMA control room number for emergencies, 021 785 8888, is unchanged. YMA’s technical manager, Damon Garty, would remain an integral part
of the team, sharing office space with the community hub and continuing to provide technical support and alarm upgrades to existing YMA Security custo-
mers.
The public could expect to see the gradual replacement of the YMA Security corporate identity with the Fidelity ADT name and branding in due course.
