Annette Fella, volunteer at St Luke’s Combined Hospice, False Bay
At St Luke’s Combined Hospice (False Bay) we are blessed to have many generous donors who regularly support us by dropping off various items, either for use by us or to sell.
As an organisation, we like to thank these donors in writing, although some people prefer a verbal thank you when the goods are delivered.
In the last few days, a donor dropped off a “very gently used” oxygen machine. This is a substantial and very welcome donation which will make it possible for some of our patients to be treated in their own homes, rather than having to be admitted to a care facility.
We would like to thank the person who donated the machine, but we are unable to trace a name or contact details.
If you dropped it off or if you know the person, please could you make contact with us by phoning 021 785 2104, weekday mornings between 9am and 12.30pm, or leave a message on the answering machine, or email us at falsebay@stlukes.co.za.
We would like to acknowledge this wonderful donation.
